Who we are

SiliCoded Technologies Private Limited (“SiliCoded”, “we”, “us”) operates www.silicoded.com. We are the data fiduciary responsible for personal data collected through this website. Our office is at Plot No. 24 A1, near Gurukrupa Bakery, Layout No. 2, Main Road, Baba Jarag Nagar, Kolhapur, Maharashtra 416007, India.

What we collect

When you use the contact form

Your name and email address (required).
Your phone number and company name, if you choose to give them.
The topic you select and the message you write.
The IP address your message was sent from, and the date and time.

When you browse the site

Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information in server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. We do not use analytics or advertising tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry and arrange any call you ask for.
To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
To protect the website from spam and abuse. For example, we use IP addresses to limit how many messages can be sent in an hour.
To meet legal obligations, where they apply.

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give by sending us a message, and for the legitimate purpose of responding to you. We do not sell your data or use it for marketing without asking you first.

Cookies and third parties

Our own pages do not set cookies. Some pages include an embedded Google Map to show our location. When that map loads, Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address, under Google’s privacy policy. If we turn on Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam on the contact form, Cloudflare will process limited technical data to tell people from bots.

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and our email: our web and email hosting provider (Hostinger) and, where used, Cloudflare. They act on our instructions and may store data on servers outside India. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries: as long as needed to respond and to keep business records, normally no more than 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client.
Spam-protection data: stored as a one-way coded value (not your actual IP address) and deleted automatically after about 24 hours.
Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its own retention settings.

How we protect it

The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Form submissions are stored outside the public part of the web server, and access is limited to people at SiliCoded who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Your rights

Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
correct or update data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
erase your data, where we no longer need to keep it;
withdraw consent you have given (this does not affect processing that has already taken place);
nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
