SiliCoded ITCM
The missing link between your devices and ServiceNow. Define device inputs and outputs on the Now Platform with low-code tools, and let your workflows act on the physical world.
Why we built ITCM
ServiceNow is excellent at managing work. But its built-in IoT tables and classes only go so far, and connecting real hardware usually means custom integration code that only one developer understands.
ITCM extends ServiceNow’s IoT capabilities. Device inputs and outputs are defined on the Now Platform with low-code and no-code tools, and outputs are operated from the platform too. Your logic starts and ends in ServiceNow, where your team already works.
What ITCM gives you
-
Device inputs on the Now Platform
Define which readings each device sends and how they map to ServiceNow records, without hand-written integration code.
-
Device outputs, too
Send commands back to devices from a workflow, such as slowing a motor, switching a relay or changing a setpoint.
-
Low-code rules
Build the logic that decides what happens with the same low-code tools your ServiceNow team already uses.
-
Extended IoT data model
ITCM builds on ServiceNow’s IoT tables and classes and takes them further, so devices sit naturally alongside your other assets.
-
One place for the logic
Rules, workflows and history all live in ServiceNow, so they can be reviewed, audited and changed safely.
-
Backed by our team
The people who built ITCM help you design the solution and connect your hardware.
An example
A conveyor motor on a production line starts to overheat.
-
Input
The motor’s controller reports 87 °C. ITCM maps the reading to the motor’s record in ServiceNow.
-
Rule
A low-code rule sees the limit of 85 °C exceeded for 30 seconds.
-
Workflow
An incident is raised for plant maintenance with the asset, location and readings attached.
-
Output
ITCM sends a command to reduce the motor’s speed until an engineer arrives.
